Morristown Welcomes 2nd Advance Financial Store
On Feb 15, Nashville-based financial services company, Advance Financial, celebrated the opening of their second store in Morristown, Tennessee. The kick-off event featured a block party with tents, a money booth, a live remote broadcast from a Knoxville radio station and the Cruisin’ Cuisine food truck.
Chairman of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce, Keith Andrews, attended the event and Keith commented, “It’s impressive that Advance Financial came to Morristown just recently and is already opening a second store.”
Advance Financial has over 100 stores in Tennessee with about 1200 employees. Each store employs approximately 10 employees, adding important jobs to each community.
“We appreciate the investment Advance Financial has made in the Morristown community,” says Andrews.
Jessica Adkins, Advance Financial Operations Manager, welcomed the group of Chamber ambassadors to the Advance Financial store. “We are super excited to be opening a second Advance Financial store in the Morristown community and making it more convenient than ever for residents to quickly get funds to take care of their financial needs,” Adkins said. “We’ve been here for three years and look forward to many more.”
Advance Financial stores, including the two in Morristown, offer many financial services, including the FLEX Loans, cash checking services, free money orders, free bill pay, $2 ATM services, Western Union, NetSpend Prepaid Cards, etc.
To commemorate the grand opening, Advance Financial donated $1000 to the local Boys and Girls Club in keeping with its long-standing tradition of giving back to the every community where it has a presence. Employees are also given 40 hours of PTO time each year to volunteer around the community.
