Nashville Shakespeare Festival

The Nashville Shakespeare Festival

Nashville Shakespeare Festival’s Mission

Founded in 1988, the mission of The Nashville Shakespeare Festival is to educate and entertain the Nashville area community through professional Shakespearean experiences.

Since its inception, over 250,000 Middle Tennesseans have been entertained each summer in Centennial Park.

In 1992, an educational outreach program was started to tour middle and high schools throughout the state as well as regional colleges and universities. The Nashville Shakespeare Festival has become a trusted resource for schools by providing enriching in-classroom workshops and creative opportunities for students.

Over 180,000 students, many of whom had never experienced live theatre before, have been introduced to Shakespeare through the Festival’s interactive workshops and energetic performances.

How Advance Financial Partners with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival

The past several years Advance Financial has worked with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival by being an Education Sponsor for several productions. This sponsorship helped students from area schools attend a live production.
