It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time of year again – back to school.
It’s time to shop for school clothes and supplies, get sports physicals, etc. etc. etc. The list just continues.
But along with all the things to buy, there are other things to consider – new sleep routines (early to bed, early to rise), calendars to keep up with sporting events and practices, music lessons and the like.
- Create a calendar for all the school functions, lunch menus, music lessons, etc. That way there’s one central place to check for the day’s or week’s events.
- Make a plan before you shop. Inventory your child’s closet to figure out what clothing needs he or she has. Also, ask your child’s school for classroom supply lists so you know exactly what you need before you shop.
- Get papers together. Avoid the stress of trying to find immunization records, proof of sports physicals, birth certificates, etc., by having all the paperwork together in one spot.
