Cookies are great because you can take them as a dessert or even just bring them as a host or hostess gift. Make them ahead of time and freeze them so they are ready to go when you need them!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only is it great to have them on hand, but it is also a fun holiday activity you can do with friends or family! Throw on your coziest pajamas and turn on some holiday music! Each of you can bring a different recipe, and you can all swap in the end!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, let\u2019s dive into some of our favorite cookie recipes!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Gingerbread\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you think of classic Christmas cookies, gingerbread might be the first to come to mind. Often, gingerbread cookies can be hard and not as moist as most cookies. That\u2019s why we have set out to find a soft and chewy gingerbread cookie recipe. Here\u2019s one of our favorites!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 \u00be cups flour<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 \u00bd teaspoons ground ginger<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon cinnamon<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc teaspoon cloves<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon baking soda<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinch of Salt\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 \u00bd sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00be cup sugar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00be cup light brown sugar (packed)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 large eggs (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc cup molasses (mild)\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In another bowl, add the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat on medium until fluffy. (about 2 minutes)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the eggs into the bowl one at a time and beat after each addition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the molasses and beat again until combined.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mix on low while adding the dry ingredients slowly. Mix until combined.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When chilled, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roll dough into balls and space them out 2 inches apart from each other on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Here\u2019s one of our favorite sugar cookie recipes that is super soft and chewy!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 \u00be cups flour<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tsp baking soda<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd tsp baking powder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd tsp salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cup &amp; 2 tbsp granulated sugar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 tbsp light brown sugar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 large egg (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 tsp vanilla extract<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc cup sugar (for rolling)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line back the sheet with parchment paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and whisk together.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add butter and both sugars into a large mixing bowl and mix on medium speed until fluffy.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the egg and vanilla to the butter and sugar mixture and mix until combined.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the dry ingredients slowly and mix until combined. This peppermint chocolate thumbprint recipe is a super easy make-ahead recipe that your friends and family are sure to love. Here\u2019s how you can make them!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup brown sugar (lightly packed)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup sugar (plus 3 tbsp for rolling)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 egg (room temperature)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tsp vanilla\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 \u00bc cups all purpose flour<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup unsweetened cocoa powder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tsp baking soda<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc tsp salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26\u201328 Candy Cane Hershey\u2019s Kisses<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a medium sized bowl.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Combine butter and sugars (minus the 3 tablespoons of sugar for rolling) and mix until light and fluffy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mix in the egg and the vanilla.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Add the dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Roll out even balls of cookie dough.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Put the 3 additional tablespoons of sugar into a small bowl. Roll each ball of cookie dough in it, and coat the ball fully.
