Advance Financial Team Members Prepare over 4,000 Pounds of Food for Charity

AF Employees At Second Harvest

Giving back to our community through charity donations and volunteering is an area of importance for us here at Advance Financial. So much so, we allot 40 paid volunteer hours a year to each employee to give back to the communities we serve. Team members can choose a charity of their choice or join in on one of the many company events we’re involved in.

Recently a group of Knoxville team members used some of their volunteer hours to work with the Food for Kids program. The program is a collaborative effort between Second Harvest Food Bank and the Knoxville public schools and is designed to provide food to children who may be missing meals on a regular basis. These children are given a backpack full of food for themselves and any siblings they may have at home every Friday throughout the school year. During their time at the Second Harvest Food Bank, our team of Advance Financial volunteers prepared a little over 4,100 pounds of packaged food to be distributed.

We as a company are proud to partner with Organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank to ensure that those less fortunate and in-need are taken care of during difficult times. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help!

If you feel strongly about our volunteering efforts and think you would be a good fit for the environment we try to create at Advance Financial, click here to find out how to join our team.
