Hands On Nashville’s Mission
Started in 1991, Hands On Nashville’s mission is to meet community needs through volunteerism. HON concentrates on issues such as hunger, homelessness and the environment and has gone from one volunteer in 1991 to connecting or referring more than 123,000 volunteers in 2013.

How Advance Financial Partners with Hands On Nashville
Advance Financial provides financial support to HON as well as volunteers. We sponsored HON’s MLK Day of Service in 2013 and 2014 donating $3,000 per year. We also sponsored Hands On Nashville Day that took place in September 2013. This sponsorship included a financial contribution of $5,000. We have also been a table sponsor for HON’s Mary C. Strobel Awards luncheon for the past two years, donating $1,000 per year.
AF provided volunteers for HON’s MLK Day of Service to paint a fire hall in 2013 and volunteers to paint a Metro Park Community Center in 2014. AF employees also volunteered to clean, organize, paint and provide landscaping for Robert E. Lillard Elementary Design Center for Hands on Nashville Day that took place in September 2013.
